What Screeners are used in WI for Early Childhood
05/20/09 at 16:51:17

From a information request regarding screenings:

Comments: I am looking to see what, if any, sceeners are used in Wisconsin
for early childhood. Is there a standard screener you could recommend?

This is the CESA #2 Early Childhood sites webmaster.  I have forwarded
Your query to Susan Donahoe, Early Childhood Consultant so she will
Reply as well.

In the mean time, you might want to look over the material on this page:
http://www.wcwcw.com/earlychildhood/eccurriculum.htm#Assessment
also, these two search result queries:
http://www.wcwcw.info/fdsesearch/search.cgi?Match=1&Realm=Early+Childhood&am p;p%3Apm=1&Terms=screening and

http://weecare.wisearch.com/cgi-bin/search/search.pl?Match=1&Realm=All&p %3Apm=1&Terms=screening

Susan Donahoe reply:
I think the list of search results that John gave you includes any information that I would share with you.  Particularly, the information on "How do I conduct a developmental screening? at http://www.collaboratingpartners.com/EarlyID/conduct.htm seems like it would apply most directly.  There is information on the Southern Regional Network (a sub-group of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Collaborating Partners-WECCP) pages about trainings available on the Ages & Stages and other information about assessment here: http://www.wcwcw.com/earlychildhood/weccp.html
